tape it up,and clean up a little of the excess, just don't jostle it enough to mis-align the parts.

let it sit for a few hours, and unclamp and untape it,clean off most of the excess before it becomes rock hard.

Man! It looks beautiful! I'm into this gun for a whopping $105.00 so far. I'm hoping the grouse will be flying skeered this fall! Can't wait to go try it out. Thanks again, Joel.

have to wait for the stain to dry, then get a coat or two of clear finish. then Gopher has to decide if he wants to leave it at that,or do a complete refinish. either way, price is the same. free!

Nice work my man! Gopher won't hit any grouse but he'll look good doing it.

I haven't heard much on that fluffy. There was plenty of snow for them, but I don't recall how wet the spring was?

found this http://ruffedgrouseminnesota.com/minnesotas-ruffed-grouse-drumming-counts-2015/ working on goph's shotgun,Im started to get psyched up.really nice piece of wood. nice chill in the air today,too.. snort.scrape. scrape. I put the gloss back on,cause that is what it had, havent seen the buttstock yet to see if it matches. if Jeff like the gun,and wants to make it look new again,we'll do them both ,and make them match perfect.

that looks good! might need the buttstock to make em match now!
took the family out fishing tonight, killed the crappies. came home with 17 crappies and 4 nice rainbow trout. threw lots back of each. 4 were over a pound, the rest were just under with one that should have been thrown back but a little kid was just dying to add one to the basket. watched the sunset in the black hills. couldn't have been any better!
