vb',

You WANT "223" and assuredly not "5.56"...due throat geometry.

S/S 223,at that.

5.56.

They respond well, when fore end Bitch Slap is removed from the equation.

But best when Boyd'd.

Better yet when Boyd'd Lite.

Already had to ReBlue it,due to a bad Bitch Hole...despite round count not being that much over 1000rds.

Lotsa 'em in the AO.

P.S. and by the way...run,runnnn,runnnnnnnnn AWAY from the Reupold 12x A/O notion,as I suffer a few of 'em myself. Trip it and go 6x MQ for the win,as the windshield alone, will trump the feeble 12x's remaining erector travel, after zero. That the windshield and erector house 180+ MOA of goodness in conjunction, assuredly do NOT hurt the equation.

It'll help your wind reading skills and over all proficiency,in non-lineal gains,if you flog on the platform without mercy.

Hint......................

vbshootinrange;
Good morning to you sir, I hope your section of Oregon is more or less fire free and this finds you well.

I picked up one of the first fast twist .223 RAR that I could find on this side of the medicine line.

Initial testing shows promise but I've got to admit it's been on the back burner for the last while though I'm hoping to play with it some more this winter.

For the money one doesn't have to put into them they are a fun way to get a bunch of shooting practice in or so I've found anyway.

Good luck with your RAR sir and all the best to you in your hunts this fall.

Dwayne

Have a standard, very happy with it. Also bought a rimfire in 17HMR, great rifle for the price.

I'm liking my 223 Predator. It shoots about .5 moa without any modifications.
