Been my premise for along time now. A candidate who refers to female newscasters as "Bimbos" and whose policies are a mish-mash of far left populist tripe has no chance in the general. Republican voters better wake up or we'll miss the best opportunity in a long-time to win back the White House---and to control the Supreme Court for the next 20 years. Jordan Do you try to scuttle every conservative candidate who has a chance? Did you do this to Sharron Angle and Matt Bevin too? Because of people like you, we end up with fcktards like Reid and McConnell. Angle was the Legislature's village idiot, and Trump is no conservative.

Not particularly, no, but he is antiestablishment, and he's right on the border question, and he's anti-PC, and Organized Jewry, despite his fawning words for Israel, seems to dislike him (likely due to the fact that their usual method for controlling Western governments is to threaten to cut off the money flowing into the elected leaders' pockets, and that won't work with Trump, since he doesn't need it), so that's a plus.

I didn't read any of this (yet), but I can assure all of you that "setting" people up is what he does. He's been lucky with it overall. Trump is a pirate...lot's a people dig that stuff.

I've had my fill of all the "country club" politicians, because all of them are just talking heads that will do the same crap they've always done. Yet people still feel comfortable picking from the Country club team. As the saying goes, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome." Anyone thinking electing another country club member will result in a positive change in this nation, has not been paying attention.
This nation is hungry for a change and has been for at least a decade. People looking for change was a major reason Obama won the elections, but he brought back into focus, voting just for the sake of change can be a huge mistake. Obama promised change and delivered a change no one wanted and still doesn't. His ideals of change were to go full Socialist and call it good. The man had no skills, nor experience in running anything other than community planning events and his two terms have demonstrated his incompetence loud and clear.
Trump represents a different direction of change and has already instituted some changes many are not even noticing. Political Correctness is now being looked at for exactly what it is, and the man is not even elected.
The illegal immigrant problem is now front and center, no longer a political suicide issue and some folks are being eyeballed for not doing something already, and the man is not even elected.
The liberal media that has run rough shod over the right for two terms now, has been called out and exposed for what they are, and the man is not even elected.
Hecklers are not allowed to over talk Trump and bandstand at his expense, and the man is not even elected.
Does this mean he won't do something stupid in the future?? Absolutely not, but right now he's batting 1000, while the career politicians are running around in a growing panic. They're desperately trying to figure out how to stop the damage to their plans being done by this man and figure out how to campaign against him. He's already been hit from multiple sides and instead of going down like they planned, his popularity is growing every time he's attacked by the career politicians or those supporting them. Most of the country club members are standing around stunned that nothing they've tried, seems to work.
The man IS causing change and he's not even elected! That fact should not be dismissed, whether you like Trump or hate him.

I still believe Trump is all set up to torpedo ANY GOP candidate, or to throw the election to Bill's criminal wife, should he get the nomination.
