cool setup, where did you get the magnetic rifle holder?
should be able to find them online at cabelas or sportsman's warehouse.

I've read that a hot barrel, positioned upright with bolt open will cool fast, hot air rises thru the tube like a chimney, cool air pulled thru the open chamber.
It does seem to work. With this set up, I can keep 4-5 rifles going, shooting cool ones while hot ones cool.

BTW, here's how I mounted the Magnetospeed on an old aluminum Hoppes rest. Drilled and tapped a hole thru the base, screw with washer and lock nut on the device and the rest. Very stable and steady. Cut a slot to secure the device and a hole for the cord. DF

By removing all the barrel attachment gadgets, there is a hole in the bottom of the housing that can be used as shown.
I'm impressed with the Magnetospeed, just not the barrel attachment concept or the little strap they supply. I got vertical stringing on light barrels with it attached and it's hard to keep it from moving forward with recoil.
This way, it's not attached, basically the best of both worlds. And, I like Magnetospeed consistency and repeatability better than the PACT unit I had been using. It seems more forgiving and never drops a reading.

"The 375HH is the greatest level of power you can get for the investment in recoil." (JJHack) 79s and losttrail, biggest waste of air.
