I should send something out to JES for a Whelen re-bore. This last BDL was the likely suspect, but it shot fantastic right out of the box. Maybe next time.

This rifle was put together for me by my local gunsmith. The action was blueprinted, I had a Holland Competition Lug added and a Timney Trigger. I have a McMillan Hunters Edge stock being made for it right now and it should be here by February.

That is a Zeiss Diavari V *T 1.5-6x42 #8 with target turrets.
I have a new NF NXS 2.5-10x42 sitting here for it, but decided to leave the Zeiss on for this hunting season (was already mounted/zeroed).

Here is another one of mine, a 700 LA. I built it as a do-all rifle but primarily only use it if hunting from a box stand. 24" Krieger chambered in 30-06. Rem varmint contour.

Can I get one at the drive through window and does it meet hunter orange requirements? Just go to a gay pride parade and get one.

Tough crowd. Anybody knows the only chambering allowed at gay pride events is a .270..... And yes, it meets hunter orange requirements, another pic.

And yes, it meets hunter orange requirements, another pic. Yup,it's where I got my .270's. But the .223 AI's far outnumbered the .270's at the gay pride parades. And your .223 AI,woooweee it would be the "bell of the ball" if you know what I mean.

I'd post a pic of my 725 re-barrelled from .244 to a stainless .260 700TI take-off, but I wouldn't want you guys to choke up.
As in gagging..... ugliest factory stock I've ever seen on any big-game rifle! Receiver exterior is rather badly rust-pitted also, beaded and re -blued....
So what does that make it - a 712 and 1/2? I'd say that was gay+ over any 270!
Damn, now I'm gonna have to take a picture of it and post it, after I get down there at Christmas! If we can have a dink-contest, why not an ugly rifle one?
Shoots good tho. Kills good too, from a wuff at 40 yards to an elk, and a half dozen or so caribou out to 300 plus.
It has expressed a hankering to ruin the day for some luck-less moose.....
The only true cost of having a dog is its death.
