Your 6mm looks like it wears the same old Scope Chief as my 721.

Yup,it's where I got my .270's.

But the .223 AI's far outnumbered the .270's at the gay pride parades. And your .223 AI,woooweee it would be the "bell of the ball" if you know what I mean.

elk,

Ahem...I'm not sure how you know that the 223AI is the gay preference, but I can imagine that you are correct. whistle

Ingwe knows that the 270 is the manliest of man cartridges. I'd simply go bonkers over a 270 in that McFlame stock. grin

Nice looking rig.

Yeah, it is a ScopeChief VI. I've had it for many years, and never seen good reason to change it.

This Scope Chief VI has been on here since the mid 80s. I guess you nailed it. No reason to change it.

Dooger,

The .308 is olive with black and tan speckles.

The 7-08 is gray with black speckles.

Some pretty nice Remingtons in this thread. Mine is pretty plain, an M700 "Special Purpose Wood" was what the box read.

Left to right, a trio of .30-06 rifles:

Ruger M77
Ruger MKII
Remington M700
The action is a Ruger MKII. It and the boat paddle stock are now part of my .338WM.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.

All gone now except the top stock (an RS from '87), third down scope, slings (even the backwards ones) and bipod! Still can't understand separating myself from the middle two, 243 and 308 Cabela's Mtn Guides, they were both very accurate...

This Mtn Guide was fairly bright for awhile.
