Wp75169 Campfire Member W Joined: May 2012 Posts: 179 East tx	This is how you make them long action friendly. EGW base and low rings. I replaced this scope with a 2-7 vx-R and never looked back. The VX-R is a much better scope imo. Sitting on a LH savage 338-06.

As I was torn between it and the VX-3 2.5-8. They went up to $500+ anywhere I looked, and my choice of the FIredot-4 is now only available in a 10th Mil adjustment version. So I passed, and saved $100 in the process. Last edited by John_in_MS; 11/07/14.

A Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather in 7mm-08 and a Remington 700 LVSF also in 7mm-08 in an original Ti SAUM stock. Obviously both are wearing Leupold 2.5-8 VX3s and both live in Talley LWs.
