Uninstall FLASH, clean cookies, browse and decide how much FLASH means to you.
If you want FLASH, go to adobe.com and install. At least you know you will have a clean, latest version.
FLASH is on its way out. First Apple, then Mozilla, next Chrome nuked it from their worlds.
Buggy whip. Problematic, buggy, hitchy, vulnerable.
I nuked FLASH months ago. Don't miss it a bit.

Nice to have known ya! i've experience fewer "attacks" today. and that's good, in my simple book. no doubt der cyberrillians are amongst us. i hear through the grapevine that up to 10,000 ISIS volunteers are headed to ny city in boats supplied by israel and russia, since they don't own any of their own. it's good to get to access this page without going through a ton of hoops, and jump throughs. the whole thingy might be a test to see who's dedicated and who isn't? i don't know. but, i can type without it bogging down, dragging, and then disappearing when i attempt to post. that's a positive thing and outcome. if push comes to shove, please visit the Dark Mountain Project, if everything else fails. lol.

Definitely on the blink again, wish the people in charge would get with it, only site I have issues with. LOL... just funny.. I never have issues other than slow now and then but that goes away too with patience.

I have been on here since 2006....I have never had a problem....I have run everything from Windows Vista. I now run windows 10 with Google and AD block....Runs Faster than ever and loads pages instantly....

I have been on here since 2006....I have never had a problem....I have run everything from Windows Vista. I now run windows 10 with Google and AD block....Runs Faster than ever and loads pages instantly.... my connection is spinning like a top. i think there are winners and there are losers. when i lose, i have to swim like *el* to get to air. i wish i knew more about IT. life would probably be more comfortable on a day to day basis.

I don't have the problem with other websites.
Considering I don't have to custom configure some my computers and phone to work on other websites, it would seem there are some issues with this one.

Am I the only one getting full page redirect adds on the forum? Go.goadv.com? Had it happen on my of and my phone this morning. Never happened before and only started after spending time here.
They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Popups and redirects are definitely not allowed here, but at this time of year unscrupulous advertisers get stuff through the normal blocks.
They'll ne nuked soon. Just running tests to isolate them now.

BTW, Rick, the problem seems to have been corrected on the office big computer, but at home, I do get the redirects virtually every time I select a new forum to look at. This is a recent occurrence.

Different issues.
This redirect thing happens industry-wide periodically. A whole bunch of people from a whole bunch of websites and ad platforms are tracing these ads down, and will nuke pretty soon. This is not a localized problem.
The FLASH thing is separate, very much localized on certain machines, and easier to spot and repair.
Glad your other machine is fixed. This one is on our end.
