Nope. All that is there related to the magazine is one quick description on how to adjust the spring.

The one I'm thinking of was a long, thorough description of disassemble, cleaning and re-assembly, describing several common problems and adjustments to overcome them.

Take the forearm off, make yourself a slotted screwdriver to fit the rotor with your dremel tool and you're off to the races. It ain't rocket surgery, you'll figure it out playing with it.

If you decide to disassemble the carrier assembly, the spindle nut is left hand threads. Many of them were staked at the factory after assembly so it can be tough to get them apart.

When you put it back in the gun make sure the spindle head screw lines up with a slot in the spindle or you will bind it up. This can be pretty tedious.

I have a 99eg in 300 Savage, from the early 50's that does the exact same thing. Someone here suggested to tighten up the spring, but that does not seem correct. I might be wrong but it actually seems as if the brass rotary shell holder is not aligned properly, as if there is not enough room to fit the first cartridge, so that the rotary mag turns. I have to really wrestle that first one in, then they will all fit nicely.

Regarding the magazine capacity, load-em full. You never know. . .

The ones I've messed with require proper orientation.

I've seen one 99 assembled wrong with the tallest "fin" on the rotor on the wrong side of the cartridge guide.
