Tagging this thread. Need some help with my 527 LH. I'll be interested to see photos, DF. I checked the web site and they don't offer the new style bolt in LH
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Too bad they don't offer a left hand version. All is not lost, as it is a doable DIY project. See my earlier post with photo of my LH 527.
Cold blue worked fine on mine, but you could polish it and have a gunsmith drop it in his hot blue tank.

Paul's solutions looks good and is about the same profile as the new M1 handle.
Getting a gunsmith to drop your prepped and polished bolt handle in his tank won't cost $35, IMO. If you have a good working relationship with one, he may not charge anything, as he's not out any time, effort or additional expense.

There is plenty of metal in the root of an original handle. Reducing it to clear the scope won't make it so thin as to weaken it or make it look weird. Just work slowly and carefully and keep checking it.
