Why would affluent school districts hire good looking female teachers if they don't want the boys to have some fun.

My last few years in the classroom, I saw more female flesh, and heard more sex-oriented girl-talk, than I would have ever imagined during my own teenage years. Sixteen years ago, when my own son was a Freshman in high school, he was pulled out of class by a pretty girl who told him he was going to be her first. That's just one I heard about, and neither was that all that unusual even back then. Used to be you worried about your daughters, now you gotta worry about your sons on account of other people's daughters. As for teachers, over the last thirty years at my school I can recall twelve (mostly younger) teachers quietly resigned out over impropriety with students. These things are almost always handled without charges or press, prob'ly in a large part because most students involved are 17 or 18 and most of them didn't feel victimized. Ran the gamut, from cases sorta like this one involving hot women teachers (three) on the one hand, to Senior girls becoming pregnant by teachers (likewise three) on the other, and everything in between. About one case every three years. OTOH, we got more than 150 teachers on staff with a significant turnover each year, I figure it works out to about one half of one percent. BIrdwatcher

I was fortunate in that I went to college twice, Undergrad and Grad, as a single male both times. What I'm getting at is that I was in my early thirties before I stepped into a high school classroom, and by that time had already seen the grass on the other side of quite a lot of fences. Some girls with crushes could be quite forward, and some of them can be pretty. Having been there, done that at the college level I would always tell 'em... "I'm sorry, I only get involved with girls who have college degrees."and... "If you find yourself attracted to me don't worry, its perfectly natural, it just means you're maturing into a woman.  Never did go down the screw-a-student path, not even close, tho' one time after a blatant come-on by a girl right after she graduated, I was walking around with an erection for the next three days Birdwatcher
