I've always had surprising consistent accuracy from 180g NPs and H1000 out of my now-13 yr old Rem LSS. I have ABs, TTSX, and Retumbo that I bought to play with various loads. They're all gathering dust because the NPs never gave me reason to run anything else. Load development is fun and all, but I have elk to butcher...

About 10 years ago my buddy set up his elk slaying 300 RUM for lighter big game like whitetail, antelope and mule deer. Don't recall what powder he was running in it but he was using 150 gr. accubonds and the thing was a flat shooting tackdriver. I had suggested he try 150 gr. accubonds because they also shot great in my 300 WSM.
