The barrel had some scuffs and stains. I polished it with 400 paper, put it in a padded vice and worked on it like shining shoes, turning to get all the way around. Turned out nice, but now may be a bit shiny. I got some camo wrap to use if needed. It like a cling bandage, no sticky, just clings to itself, roll it on with overlap and it stays..
