The plastic wrapped cucumber was supposed to go into a cucumber, black olive, sweet onion, tomato, vinegar and oil + spices salad.

I didn't have any tomatoes though.

That stuff is amazing! I will forever be indebted to you for the bottle of Black Maple Hill and Elmer T!! It made our experience in KC at the Royal even more memorable. As far as we can remember anyway!! grin grin wink

Dan that soup looks great.

It's about time to get something fired up here. Maybe beef stew or NE Clam Chowder. Although, now I want to make a pot of chicken soup! wink

BUT I haven't even eaten what I made yesterday!!

Thinking I enjoy cooking more than eating these days!!

Boiled eggs, whole wheat toast, and tea. Just was not up to eating really, but diabetics have to eat even if they do not want to frown

We are doing our version of stir-fry: chicken based, with carrots, celery, green onion, bok choy, cauliflower, napa cabbage, and spinach also involved. We are trying out a sauce mix that I found the other day.

After a day of a mix of clearing snow and doing some computer work decided we enjoyed a treat so ended up with Orecchiette Carbona. We haven't done it in a while and really enjoyed it.

The plan here is, Iowa Chop, a center cut pork chop about an inch, and a half thick, broiled, mashed potatoes, gravy, Brussels sprouts.

Smothered pork chops and a bean salad.

The smothered chops were outstanding. I mean flat kick azz. A pig has to be the finest animal ever created. Allah and the Jews were just trying to keep 'em all for themselves.

Should have made a pot of rice or potatoes to go with, but trying to cut back on carbs. Though, if there was a tater in the house, it would of been in trouble!
