I'm using IMR 4451 in one of my 6.5x47's with 140 Hybrids. It's kicking H4350's butt and I've been religiously using H4350 for the 6 years i've been shooting my two 6.5x47's. With 1 gr extra, it's running 100 fps faster, SD's are single digit and accuracy is .36 moa at 1010 yds; on multiple occasions. Not selling my H4350 but it's getting shelved in the back.

Gentlemen,
I think H4350 is becoming easier to find. I received 56 pounds last week from two orders placed sometime back. You will find that bullets.com will generally have it available at 29.95 a pound(High I know, however, if you want to shoot you have to pay to play). The bulk, 46 pounds, came from Powder Valley and was $23.75 a pound and you had to buy it by the bottle. I am splitting it up amongst friends who I know will USE IT and not bury it under the corn crib for the zombie invasion.. Hazmat largely makes that guys I know as shipping it is a pain and expensive... That said it seems to be breaking loose.

I also received 48 pounds of H1000 three weeks back that I intended for 230 grain Bergers in .300 WM and .300 Grain Bergers in .338 Lapua Magnum. While listed No Backorder the entire $990/48 pound order was filled less than 20 days after it was placed. I already have a 100 pounds plus of Varget, half that of H335, and more than enough Titegroup and RL17 and RL22 to keep my cans hot for the next 10 to 20 years. What still eludes me is the humble .22 LR... Short of buying Lapua or Eley at a BARE MINIMUM of $6-$7 a box for 50 there is NOTHING available. I can find .17 HMR reasonably with a 2000 round a day limit, however, .22 LR remain expensive and elusive. I have plenty of the expensive stuff for my 1700 series sporter Anschutz and 1900 series Competition Annies, however, there is nothing in the way of fodder for fun guns like my Marlin 39A Golden Mountie, Remington Nylon 66 Apache Black/Chrome, and the several custom 10/22s even if they have nothing in them from Ruger short the magazines...

Apologize for being slightly off topic, however, I wanted to pass along the good and bad on powder... Primers remain bleak. Thankfully small primered 6.5mms like CCI 450s which ARE available... You are generally out of luck on Federal GMM.

Regards, Matt.
