A good whiskey dropped into a good stout.... I'd have to consult with MathMan before trying something as risky as that....

For my taste that's a way to ruin both. An Old Crow shot dropped into a PBR would be more fitting. No real harm there, except to the drinker.

A good stout is a beautiful thing ...but not as tasty as the Fairweather!

I'm still chuckling at the pretentiousness. Next, you will be telling me that my new favorite, Best Damn Rootbeer, is not good.

No pretense here. My superior taste in beer is real.

That's called deconstructed in the culinary language and I agree!

you guys can have all those dark, nasty beers. I'll stick with a good Pilsner. that bowl of red beans, sausage and rice looks mighty tasty though. OK, but do you know what that is? fug yeah MM, an ice cold Bud Select. laughing Budweiser is an excellent beer. This Budweiser that is: mm, dump that Budvar idea next time you're in CZ and getcha some of the Kozel brand pils. You'll forget all about the Budvar. BTW, they also make the best dark beer I've ever had. Guinness pales in comparison.

Guiness as we get it is way over-rated.

Years ago, I used to drink Bass here and there, and on occasion some Harp. Over it. Not saying it's bad beer. Just doesn't fit my taste preferences any more. Thoughtfully made smooth pils is tops for me for several years now. If you ever get a chance, try some Westmalle Tripel. It's a Belgian pils. Consistently rates in the top 5 beers in the world. ABC Liquors and Total Wine carry it down here.
