Wow nice collection, But I've noticed you've displayed some pretty nice Sako's here from time to time.

It is hard to keep up with the new trend of stainless and black guns when you are stuck in the past...

I'm partial to my Grandfather's Sporterized 03 Springfield

But this stubby Ruger 77 MKII 308 is deadlier than Monty Python's salmon mousse. smile[Linked Image][Linked Image]

It looks like a Winchester, but it is a Browning...

Nothing as fancy as some of the nice stuff shown so far,and I have had qute a few in the past. But currently this little Ruger Hawkeye in 257 Roberts has surprised me. I have only had it a month or so but it bunches shots at 100 yards, and holds POI flopped prone at 300 yards.

Load is 100 BT and 46-H4350. I can live with it.

O.K. You can't have something worth more than my house and not shoot something with it. Tell me it doesn't stay home in a case...

I would love a double rifle but other things (guns) keep getting in the way. I'd definitely hunt with it. Is it BPE or NE? What caliber?

It is a 450 3 1/4 BPE, these are the first 4 shots:

1st shot I aimed at the center and hit high. next three I held 6 0'clock, the quarter.

Yes, this 450 lives in it's wood and leather case.

Next to it's big brother, a Holland and Holland. 500 3 1/4 BPE:

Other than my pre-64s I'd say Tikka T3 Lite. I've owned several and they've all been amazing shooters right out of the box.

PS, those H&H shots are incredible! So cool! cool
