Richard, It's definitely an improvement, since hey added fresh fruit, meat & produce, but still a far cry from a real City's supermarket !

Paul, the prices, and smaller selection must be a price you, (we) get for being in a Sportsmen's paradise. Some of us miss the IGA store.

I just stuck my nose in a zip lock bag containing marinating beef strips, sliced jalapenos and Serranos and onions. I will throw tomato in when I fry it on high heat. It's all soaking in lime juice, garlic, Bolner's Season-It-All and Fajita Seasoning. It going on day three of soak time. Tonight we will feast with La Costena refries, corn and flour tortillas and Sadie's hot salsa. Ed can you post a recipe?

Charles roast, mashed potatoes, frozen corn, fresh asparagus, tossed salad

Thanks.....it's one of the few things I do really well IMO..... The same recipe works equally well with barley instead of noodles....I'm not sure which one I like better....
Edit....I also use nice rich beef stock and sop up the juice with buttered biscuits....mmmmmm.....

I'd be pleased to tuck a napkin in my collar, and put my boots under your table.
I'd be pleased as well to have the some of the other folks here to dine with me.
P.S., bring your own Pepto Bismo.

Last night I cooked up some Jeyuk-Bokkeum (Korean spicy pork stir-fry) and Haiku noodles, and it was good, really good, damn good ! Excuse the stove top, stir fry will do it every time, my daughter was not impressed

Yes, it sure does look great Miss Lynn !
Got me hankering for Mongolian Lamb, due the similarity.
Used to make it lots, back in Australia, where lamb was, both, prevalent & inexpensive.
