I don't think that means what you think it means.

Here is Travis' last post. It was posted to the Friday Music thread (Flave Style). Which had songs about drinking etc.

Praying he continues to get well. He's a good dude.

I sit here attempting (feels like I'll never actually do it) to become sober and I'm nothing short of ashamed when I stop and think that people actually associate me with these type of lyrics. All the things I've accomplished in my life mean nothing. At the end of the day people see me as nothing more than a smart-ass drunk. Not only online, but in my day-to-day life as well. And that's a reputation I've come to deserve.

A person most certainly reaps what they sow and my life has become a reflection of this.

Travis

If he's taking some time off for self reflection or to curb a vice or two, more power to him.

If he's setting us up for April 1st, he can GFH.!

Yep, read that a few weeks back and don't believe it for a second.

'Flave is smart, funny as hell, and looks like a good family guy from what I can see. I like the guy even though I've never met him or even exchanged PM's.

No way do I think he is a drunk and is taking time off to dry out. He is too smart to let himself get brought down by a bottle of booze.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

senior fla-vay is working for me in northern MN. As long as I keep that polak full of clear liquor he works like a [bleep] maniac. He's doing all of my media blasting out behind the shop, which I usually reserve for summer months but he don't mind sub zero sand storm. He scrapes grease and pulls engines and transmissions without any hoist, I'm pretty sure he's separating and tearing muscles on a daily basis but he seems to recover about as fast as the liquid mercury version of the terminator.

He sleeps in the shop or sometimes in an old car behind the shop, but he comes to life every day at 7AM and I pour him a tall glass of pretty much any clear booze and we are on fire for like 16 hours straight.

It's freaking awesome, I'm set to pay the house off this year if his liver holds out. If I charged the ladies admission fee to watch him work I could buy a harley this spring. They show up around 5 PM everyday and just fan themselves while watching him finish out the shift.

He's not on the campfire because it's against my policy, slows him down. Why would I let him burn his energy on GFY's when we got money to make up here?

We're winning bigly up here in border land and you all can GFY.

There once was a hermit named 'flave

Who kept a dead whore in his cave

He said: "I'll admit

That she's colder than sh|t

But look at the money I save!

Whatever he is doing I hope he gets it sorted out successfully and gets back here soon.

I quit drinking for two years,on my 21 st birthday.
got that demon out of the way early.
I can go for weeks,without a drink,not miss it.
In some ways,I am blessed.

I'm trying to tell you, he's rolled up in a dog hair covered horse blanket in the back seat of a 54 chevy car, in a snowbank behind my shop. His best friend is a sketchy, half wild tomcat named Henry. Henry sleeps near but not necessarily with flave. He has a lady friend named Loon Bare, which I thought was Loon Bear as in beautiful lake bird/powerful bear but it turns out its Loon Bare meaning crazy naked.

They seem happy.

He used to be a quirky, funny, harmless guy. That's the Travis I like. This latest iteration with the fangs and general nastiness is not much fun. I figured there was something behind it. Hope he get's it sorted out. I won't be as hard on him as he's been on so many others when he returns.
