If I recall correctly my better experience resulted when I annealed after neck turning at the 221 stage (not B4), then I neck turned one final time at the 17 FB stage and then annealed again.
If the brass is to soft she tends to be more prone to crushing, when necking down.
That makes sense, I'll give that a try on the next batch.
I fired 3 test loads yesterday in my brass. My best group was .6 but all the brass looked good after firing, no splits or cracks. This is really the fireforming step so that might be the best accuracy I can expect at this stage. Just out of curiosity I weighed my fired brass and compared it to Remington once fired factory brass. My brass averaged .4 grain heavier but seemed to be more consistent in weight.
