A sporting goods store here in western MT and finds a Remington 700 KS, chambered in 7mm stainless with a Leupold VX3 3.5-10x50. Excellent condition. Guess what he paid for it? Nope, $550.
I've been in that store 2 times in the last week...do you think that was there then? Dang! They obviously didn't know what they had...

It's probably sad what the store paid for it. Somebody needed beer money bad.

Nice buy ! Not sure I would have bought, unless it was to trade for something else.
I have a Model 70 in 7mm rem mag. It's a safe queen. Had it for 15 years. Used it on one white tail hunt in AZ.
My son did smoke a few coyotes with it and some 175 gr pills... Makes a mess of them.

Or the store marketed something that wasn't a KS. I've seen that show before............... Is your buddy positive it's a KS?

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Thats what I was wondering... LOL. Rem mags are better when necked to .257 and double radii...
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Just curious. Where in western MT did that happen?
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

Deals like that are hard to come by. Not one I could pass up.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
