Would like to have something to ride someday. What is the difference for riding purposes between a mule and a horse. Can you pen them with cattle ok?

Some mules will run with cattle some won't. Most will try to get at calves though and not in a good way. Most mules will do better if caught up all the time. They need to bond with the owner, much like a dog. Send them out on pasture and they get all they need and not need anything from the owner.

Congratulations Dennis, she's beautiful! What did you end up naming her?
If you are not willing to go back every day and start over, you should not have started to begin with--because, you might have to start over a lot of days in a row before it carries over from one day to the next. BUCK BRANNAMAN
