Jupiter police later said they were looking into the incident after Fields filed a report, although investigators had not named Lewandowski.
Lewandowski turned himself in to Jupiter police just after 8 a.m., accoriding[sic] to a police report.
Surveillance footage captured at Trump National, off Donald Ross Road, corroborates Feilds’[sic] claim, the arrest report says.
A statement from the Trump Campaign asserts that Lewandowski is "absolutely innocent" of the charges.

Surveillance footage released by the Jupiter Police Dept. clearly contradicts Lewandowski's claim that he never touched Fields.

If Lewandowski had apologized, it would have gone away and never even been written up as a story. It's the cover up that gets idiots every time, not the crime.

Women are going to hear that a female reporter was assaulted by a Trump manager and that the Trump campaign lied and tried to cover it up. They will also see the bruises. You can't win without the women voters. Trump has lost it.

The report states that Fields came to the Jupiter Police Department on March 11, three days after the alleged incident. According to the police officer who interviewed Fields that day, she indicated that after she asked Trump a question, she "felt someone yank her left arm," and that she "fell back but caught herself from falling."
"Fields showed me her left forearm, which revealed bruising from what appeared to be several finger marks indicating a grabbing type injury," the officer wrote.
The Jupiter Police Department has also released new video that shows the alleged incident from an overhead angle. According to a Jupiter Police Department document, Lewandwoski has a court date of May 4.
Campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said in a statement Tuesday that Lewandowski is "absolutely innocent of this charge," and will plead not guilty.
"He will enter a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court. He is completely confident that he will be exonerated," the statement said.
