Arbogast Jitterbug, and Storm Rattlin' ChugBug. Both in GreenFrog/yellow belly.

They have been eating the 1/2 ounce model Yellow Magic and Zara Spook here for the last couple of weeks.

Most my bass fishing is on the river [New] for smallmouth. The Tiny Torpedo works great of the day & at night it's the Jitterbug.

I agree with the posters that mentioned the Jitterbug for night fishing. They'll catch more than bass. I got invited to fish a good sized farm pond. The guy who owned the property said if you want to stay and night fish bring some black Jitterbugs and fish the shallow end.
We had a good afternoon with the bass on several different lures. When it got dark we caught five or six decent sized catfish on the Jitterbugs.

My dad used to fish his Spooks on an old Pflueger steel rod with a Supreme level wind. I wish I could walk the dog half as good as he did, and he could hit any hole in the lily pads no matter how small. Worked this year as well...
