Those amnesia drugs are great.
My wife said in recovery I announced no less than 4 times that I had "a bowel monkey fixin to wreck the gorilla cage."
Don't remember any of it.

not yet.
Of course, the wife makes sure I'm eating well already, there's not much they could change there.
I could use more exercise, but this is mostly a heredity issue.

Don't remember any of it. HILLARIOUS! When I was under, I told the nurses, " what's said in Vegas, stays in Vegas...." They were giggling when they told me that afterwards.

Glad you caught it at the early stage. Mine had turned into a tumor. Make sure you get a colonoscopy its painless and well worth it.
Best Wishes RWE.

Damn, glad it was found. I had my first colonoscopy last fall and I was clean as a whistle. He said come back in 10 years.

Damn. Very glad that you went in early.

Don't remember any of it. Where'd that come from? Versed, a sedation drug used for the procedure. It produces retrograde amnesia. Good stuff. Nobody wants to remember something noodling up their rectum... Glad they found the precancerous polyp. That's what it was designed to do.

For some folks, versed can remain in their system for a full day. That's why they want someone to drive you home after the procedure and be around. I remember being given a picture of my colon, where there showed evidence of diverticulitis. Couldn't find the picture late that evening when I looked for it. 2 weeks later, I found it in a drawer in the bedroom. Don't remember putting it there.
