Hard to imagine sitting outside for hours while listening to shots being fired inside. Heck, it's hard to imagine sitting outside for minutes listening to shots being fired... I am just guessing but I think we will see a protocol change for active shooter situations...more of a shift towards ending it immediately with extreme prejudice. That took place after Columbine. Dave

That's 103. AR typically runs 30 rounders so that's 4 magazines minimum. Some people were shot 11 times so I'd guess you're into 6+ magazines counting multiple hits and misses.
Just seems like a lot of magazines for 1 guy to use without being rushed in some way. Or perhaps multiple shooters...

How long did it take them to ascertain that there were no IEds?
