LATE in the day to be reading 107*F ambient in the shade. I'm not buying the "Chamber of Commerce" forecast for overnight abatement, either.

How's it looking in your neck of the woods, scrub, cactus and sand ?

I would think that would help keep the buzzards busy at the border.

87* for the high here. grin 45% humidity.

I got a bud that lives in Sun City that comes here every once in awhile and says the dry heat is a lot more bearable than the heat and humidity here, he says he can barley breath when he comes here in the summer.

Never been to your neck of the woods so I don't know if he's correct or not but I tend to believe him.

We have yet to break 100 in this neck of the woods although its got close a time or two. Humdidity has been pretty real though but that moisture has kept our temps down.

We got lucky here in the fever infested bottom land. Woke up to thunder and a little shower. High was only 92! Much cooler than the past week!

It's hot in the northern hemisphere. Alaska, Canada, England are all hot. Australia experienced a very hot summer (their summer) in November. And global warming is a left wing contrived scam. Yeah right.

Driving home from work today. The thermometer in the car read 125'F at around 1715.

I took a picture of it. If I was really diligent, I'd try to figure out how to post it here.

It got to 90* in town (Saratoga Springs). Propably a little cooler at my place. That's hot for these parts, in June.

119. Wife asked if she could use the dryer at 1600 today and I told her that if she did, I would make sure that she and the clothes could fit in together.
