I hope the British vote to leave the EU bodes well for Mr. Trump in our elections in November. Lots of people on both sides of the pond are tired of the elites forcing their agenda on the rank and file.
The biggest problem our country has is not systemic racism, it's systemic stupidity.

I'll be surprised if this does anything. Markets down, gold up? I just have to wonder why. Nothing has been accomplished. And the winners are..... People who make money from market volatility. Once again.

It is definitely a 'buy' day[although I've felt most stocks have been somewhat overvalued for some time].

Pete, you already have your own currency and central bank. You've never given up sovereign defense. Free trade agreements can be negotiated (the EU isn't going to want to give up one of its biggest markets).
Aren't you in reality just taking back 'central planning' authority and immigration policy from Brussels?
I'm sure I'm missing something big, but what?

I'm sure I'm missing something big, but what? Yes and No.. I suppose there is a major worry that big business ect will relocate out of the UK to continue get the benefits of the EU. Earlier this morning there were rumours circulating that Morgan Stanley were moving 2000 jobs from London to Ireland and Frankfurt and that a large restaurant chain was closing down. Both company's denied the rumours, but it shows that keeping confidence in the UK as a good place to do business is going to be very important...

I don't have a dog in the fight but I'm amazed that the powers that be in the UK are letting a majority vote decide the issue. Would never happen here. Didn't you hear? The president of the EU has called for the raising of an army to invade GB for the purpose of preserving the Union.

Here's how you can rest assured that leaving was the proper thing to do. Obama said it wasn't. Basically, Great Britain can make it's own decisions or it can allow a wog community organizer from the ghetto of Chicago to make decisions for it.

I think the Brits did a wise thing, but it's not my country and none of by business. I hope it turns out well. I will say independence worked well for us.

Realistically, the BREXIT vote won't matter. England has been in a liberal death spiral since WWII and this won't change that, regardless of how they vote. You gotta start somewhere.

The more centralized any governmental system, the more it will be under the thumb of organized international Jewry, thus the establishment's hysteria over GB's departure.

I think it will be a good thing for the British and the EU long term.
