Take his $500 & add 7 boxes of ammo @ +/- $20/box (like the listing states) It's not that far off. If someone is serious, they will make an offer. BTW, I haven't noticed a lot of charity going on in the other listings, either.

In my area, a Venture goes for $400 new + tax. I can't get the ammo here for $20 box. More like $23.00.
What I don't get is others shatting on a guys Ad.

I am in retail, if a item is not sold in a short period of time, and you have it marketed correctly, than the price is too high. If you would like to sell it, drop the price. I have been seeing the same ad for 2 years, on a vanilla caliber, on a vanilla, every day run of the mill gun, with a scope that looks like a telescope, and you are asking retail....no my panties are not in a wad, I am just trying to help a helpless salesman.

If someone is interested they will let me know; hopefully, in a more adult manner than yourself, but the world is full of opinions. BTW, I have been able to sell guns here and plenty of other sites without your astute "retail" advice. I just hope you treat your co-workers with more decorum than you displayed here.
