I've got a RAR in .223 with a Timney trigger and a Cabela's 4x12 scope on it that I've tried to sell twice for 500 dollars without getting a reply. Oh Well, gun will shoot too. Elk

I've pondered that ad more than you'd probably like to know. If we could use .224" chambered rifles for deer here in Hoosier-land I'd be a customer. However, the new this year law allowing rifles only allows .243" or .308" rifles and money is tight. Yes, the 30 Carbine is legal for this study, but the 223 Rem is not... Stupid I know, but the law is for a 5 year "study" to see about allowing all rifles statewide.

That said, I could be looking for something just like that down the road.

Popping this up here versus cluttering the MRC thread. The LH PO Ackley Mauser custom listed below on GB is by far the least expensive LH Ackley rifle I have seen. The first one that poppoed up here on 24HCF a year ago sold in one day on GB with BIN price around $3500. The one at Cabelas a few weeks ago went for $2800 in short order. The rifle below has been up on GB for at least 3 weeks at $2000 with zero takers.

No interest in a LH Mauser ? Some defect that is not obvious to me ? Why the lack of interest ?

I contacted the seller. It has a 3.4" mag box, so, could easily be rebored or rebarreled to a standard long action chambering...
