I did however put some old school on it with the SuperSport emblem off a 66'Malibu that I inserted in the hood scope. Fit perfectly.

I used to work with an old fellow that was a German immigrant that traded his first car( '57 Chev. Belair convertible, white with white roof and red interior ) for a then new 66 VW Beetle and got 1,500 in cash. Poor old fellow probably still kicks himself Daily!!!!!

The new Vettes are sharp looking, very aggressive. The new Z06 with the supercharged 6.2 might make more power, but the previous Z06 with the 505hp 7 liter engine sounds wonderful

Fast & gorgeous, and the Daytona influenced many other car designs.

I threatened to buy a 911 a couple years ago. Of course I then discovered it was absolutely impossible to store a rifle in it, except for the passenger seat.

Hard to say, might do a boat in a couple years. Might do a sports car, too... smile

It has a 400 with Tri-Power and a 4 speed Muncie with a 355 Posi-traction rear end. The second picture is about 43 years ago, things were different in those days...

Thanks.....4 speed of course.

In response to your Super Duty 455 dream..... when I found out that 74 was the last year of the 455 Super Duty Firebirds, I went to the local Pontiac dealer to order one, and missed the deadline by a week......bummer. They're currently bringing 4-5 times what my Z-28 will now.

Dan, that was my dad's dream car for a long time too. He finally bought one about 15 years ago. He drove out to western NY and pulled home a 57 T-bird. I think he bought it for $8500. It was in 100 pieces. He brought it home, restored it and drove it for about 5 years.

He sold it because it was uncomfortable, and no matter what he did, it over heated like a SOB.

Nice lookng car!

Those old MGs were extremely rare around my area. A local lawyer had the only one I remember seeing driven even semi-regularly on the street. His was British Racing Green. He told me he bought his back in the 50s when he was in the military stationed in Europe and had it shipped back home when he ETS'd.

I'd be plum happy with a '72 Dodge Demon..

Mom and Dad had one. 340 4bbl, 727 torqueflite and 3.55:1 gears. Uncles told me that was one of the quickest cars off the line they'd seen. Folks bought it new in 72 and sold it in 75. I ran a title search on it when I was 15 (1990) to see if it was around. Kid who bought it from mom and dad totaled it out 6 weeks later.

He went over yonder way
