This is the 3rd Polar bear that this farmer gets on his land since 2008 and he's using 30-06.

What does he do with the carcass and pelt n head? The Environment Agency of Iceland gets the carcass and then worked by a taxidermist and then finally donated to the Natural Museum.

I take it they aren't endangered out there.
Amazing animals.
Never cared for hunting certain predators, unless it's to control their numbers. Then sign me up.
Putting flame suit on now.
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

My great uncle shot one in Norway I think in the late 60s off the ice flows. The rug is HUGE. He used a 338 Model 70 with 250gr Silvertips.

Some dumbass posted this polar bear pic on LinkedIn; you can only imagine the chitstorm of comments; used to be a valuable business tool but, it is becoming more like Facebook everyday. Damn big predator; don't believe I could face one in bow range.
