Ya very cool dude. He was a hellava welding/machine instructor. Had him from 90-93, used to bring guns and parts in to work on em in class, they'd string ya up nowadays for that Schitt!!

Got a 12" #3 hart, 700, and a McMillan hunter I'm taking him next week for a Whelen build.

I have a very similar rifle only a 700 instead of a 660. my fav is the Berger 95gr VLD, hits it all from Rock Chucks to deer out to 1000yds

Settled on a 80 gr bt, 45 gr superformance at 3625. Gonna be tryin her out on bucks and coyotes soon.

Wouldn't a 1-10 or 1-9 twist have done well with the 80 grain BT? That foolishly asked the 85 grain Partition has worked great for me on deer and pigs but at standard 6MM velocities.
