Slick looking machine. You're gonna love that Z 3 Swaro on it.

The first time I went to Montana to hunt elk in the mountains, I brought my Win M70 Black Shadow in 300 WM. I learned the hard way on why you shave off as much weight as possible when going in the high country by foot. Today I pack completely different in both gear and firearms.
Every little bit of weight that you can shed is well worth the time and money. You might not think that starting off at the truck but you will later on and 4000 feet higher.
Great job on this rifle.

Trimming weight is great, but it don't matter cause it looks sweet! Making an already NOT rigid stock even less rigid is something I would not waste my time doing. Looks real nice though.....

How much did he bolt handle cost to flute? That's slick! It was done for free as a favor by a local machinist. I just gave him some pics of the kimber mountain ascent handle and asked him to do something similar

I thought about that while I was sanding it down...but it still shoots better than I can shoot. I'd love to put B&C or a mcmillian on it but that ain't in the budget right now!
