I have a beautiful #1 B in 22-250. Red pad. Low round count. Excellent condition. Never hunted, only shot from bench. Rather unique wood on it that I love. It has a very nice Kepplinger trigger installed that I believe was $250. It shoots excellent. Never any problems or accuracy issues with it. I will have to pull it out to check serial # to date it.

I am considering trading it for a #1 in a different chambering. I have other .22s that get used. This one just sits in safe looking pretty. I love it, and it is a joy to shoot. I may very well regret ever getting rid of it.

So I am basically looking to trade it for a different #1 in .243 or larger chambering. I don't have anything specific in mind. I don't want anything in .257 or .277. Must be low round count, nice wood.

I like almost anything in 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm. A Swede or 7x57 would rate high on list. I like 405 Win. To name a few, but would consider others.

If interested, please PM me and let me know what you have and we can exchange pics.

I would consider selling, but really just want another #1 in a different chambering.

Thanks......

The wood on this stock is very dense and the gun feels rock solid. More so than any other #1 than I have encountered. Length of pull is about 13.25". Fit/finish is superb. Better than recent mfg. #1s. Rings are Leupold lows, I believe. Mfg. in 1990. Low round count. Kepplinger trigger is set at about 12oz. in set mode. 1 3/4 lbs. in standard mode. Shoots great with Varget and H380. Thanks......[Linked Image]

That is unusual, have not seen a stock like that previously. But I do have a .22-250, so no trade here - but a free bump. smile

I was told it was a special order gun, or that wood was hand selected or something to that effect. I cannot confirm or deny this. Not that it much matters. It is what it is.

I have had it since about 1996 and probably haven't put more than 100 rounds down it. Previous owner told me he hadn't put more than a couple boxes down it. He bought it for his daughter who never used it and wanted the money for something else.....

Well I can't find the nice groups I shot with Varget and 50 gr. BSTs. But they were 1/2"-3/4" groups. Did find this though. One shot at 200 yds., closest to eye, to see who bought the beer on the way home. Needless to say, I drank for free that night grin
