99: No need to go to Tuscany...you can do it here! Told my wife about this thread and that EdM mentioned the veal. She said..."Dummy, veal is the original "saltimbocca". What's wrong with you? " I had no idea. Even though I was raised with Italian grandparents off the boat, I never learned names for a lot of this stuff. To me it was just "veal" or "chicken". She also said tossing in the capers would be a good idea.

Last night was simple. Chili (yes, with beans) and some CI corn doggies.

Big ribeye, smashed parsley red potatoes and corn on the cob last night.
Old standby and one of my all-time favorite meals.

Tonight it's medium rare tritip cooked over mesquite.
Broccoli and cheese sauce. Miller Lite's. All after an epic hike in 95 degree weather.
Life is good.

Great looking brisket, Dan. Smoked chicken thighs tonight. Smoked baked beans, mashed potatoes and cole slaw kept them company.

Made Chicken and sausage Gumbo tonight....I actually found some good Andouille locally.....it was delicious....the peppers were from my little garden which was a treat too... I'm still mowing though.....and counting the days until the opener.... no fires so far so it looks like I'll be able to do my annual Grouse camp.....
