That's a real decent all-around choice too, and for less than 150 bucks it'll be hard to beat...!

Based on what he's looking for I was about to mention Blackjack knives. I've got one I received in a trade. They aren't my type/style of knife, much like Randall's, but seem to be very well made.

I was going to suggest the Buck 120 General, or even the 124 Frontiersman (although the Frontiersman is under 7"), but 4ager beat me to it.

How about a Kabar? Or the bigger, more badass-looking Kabar "Big Brother"? It has a 9 3/8's inch blade and with it having a few more curves, looks somewhat similar to the Randall.

Order your Randall the way you want it.

Buy a Trail Master Bowie or a Becker in the meantime.

Nothing is more cooler and versatile than a Trail Master Bowie around camp.

Lol

Yep bought, this lot gives our group close to 50 dozen not counting the 20 dozen floaters we hunt over on the lakes

I use a bag of crackers and a tee-ball bat.

Whatever works.

Got my Buck Model 120 "General" in the mid 1980s. Cost about $50 back then. It has been a great large camp knife
