Diesel. If I run out in the house I just pull a little out of the truck or tractor.

My wife can't stand even the faintest odor of diesel. I have to be real careful filling the tractor and wash well after. miles

Dollar Shave Club's shave butter before I shave and their post shave balm after.

Absolutely amazing stuff. Not heavily scented, but it WORKS and doesn't irritate the patches of psoriasis I have on my face.

That must be a thrill with any little razor cuts, eh? You must have really oily skin if that 91% doesn't mummify your face.

It'll let me know if I use a blade one too many times. grin

Ordinarily it doesn't bother me much when it goes on, and it seems to keep anything from getting started in the pores I just skimmed.

As a starter, this is good stuff. But I've started using this, and I think that it's better. No cuts, no burns, no nicks. BTW, either Neutrogena or Shave Butter is excellent for after shave application. Rub a small amount on your face and neck, and you'll have no burns. A chick friend of mine will use either Neutrogena or Shave Butter, whichever one she can "borrow" from me, especially on her bikini line and then rub some in after shaving. She said they're the only products that have prevented bikini line bumps. BTW, she got me dialed in to Gillette Fusion. I though it was a gimmick until I tried it.

After shave is for chicks. You don't have to spend a fortune for good stuff if you know where to buy. You can get incredible deals at Haute Look or Nordstrom Rack. While I've never bought after shave at Amazon, I'd bet that it has competitive prices.

Right now I'm using Polo after shave balm because it was on sale at a local Nordstrom Rack. And I like Polo. I've never been able to find Burberry Touch after shave balm other than in a packaged set.

You might want to run that by your dermatologist. That junk will dry our your face. You'll look like a weathered prune if you keep using that chit.

Also used Old Spice for years. Now it's Aqua Velva Ice Blue.

That's how you got used to the fish odor?

Naw, he got around that by applying from front to back.

Hello KG.

Soap and water, used daily or so on the "dispenser" will fix that little problem.

I shave once, maybe twice a week, depending on what I'm doing and where I'm going. I never, ever use after-shave. I don't see why I need it. It's one of those cases where if a marketer can make people think they need something, they can sell it.

Isopropyl alcohol's dubbed as "my favorite solvent". I keep several bottles around with Zep spray nozzles affixed. This one lives in my truck. Nothing gets diesel fuel off your hands like isopropyl alcohol. I use it as a substitute parts cleaner, on glass, cuts, grease, paint, etc...
