For Sale: Browning 71 Carbine .348 Winchester, 20” barrelPrice: $950 shipped U.S. Priority Mail to your FFL in the lower 48 excluding CA. If you are in AK, shipping will increase the cost. The price is not negotiable. Payment with U.S. Postal Money Order only. Not interested in any trades. So there shouldn’t be any PMs with offers. The rifle is sold AS IS. No inspection period. No refunds. The pictures are your inspection same as it was for me when I bought it off gunbroker. If your FFL or state requires shipping from an FFL, find another FFL or move to another state. Description: The rifle is lightly used. I have not fired it nor hunted with it, which is why I’m selling it. There are some scuffs, dings and scratches in the wood and some in the metal which I’ve done my best to photograph. Most of the dings are in the fore stock but there are also some light ones in the butt stock and grip. There is a scratch on the left side of the action and on the lever/front trigger guard. There are also some light scratches on the right side of the action. I’m not aware of any other metal flaws, but I won’t claim there aren’t some minor ones I might have missed. The crown and the rifling are in fine condition although my pic of the bore isn’t the best. The dark spots are just shadows. I doubt this rifle has been fired much if any at all beyond the factory test, but I’m not the first owner. I have the original box but not the manual or papers. It will ship with the gun sock and box shown. See pics for condition.

Is that the original box? If so, is the manual/paperwork that was in the box included?

I also have dies, brass and bullets available to the buyer of the rifle for extra, so the buyer need not worry about unavailable components. Unfortunately, I can't ship it with the rifle, since I have a perfect sized over-pack box for the original box to help protect against damage in shipping. Instead, I will ship the reloading components in a priority flat rate box directly to the buyer. This offer is only being made to the buyer of the 71 rifle who gets first crack at buying these.Lee Precision .348 2-die set and .348 Factory Crimp Die: $30 + shipping Hornady .348 cal, 200 GR FP, Qty 100/box. 3 boxes available: $30/box + shipping New Winchester .348 Brass, Qty 50/bag. 6 unopened bags / 300 cases available: $50/bag + shipping I can fit one bag of brass in a small flat rate box for $6.80 shipping. Likewise, the dies can fit in a small flat rate box, but not with any brass or the bullets. Everything, that is the dies, bullets and 6 bags of brass fit perfectly into a medium flat rate box for $13.45 shipping. These prices aren't negotiable. They are already discounted. However, if the buyer chooses to buy all the dies, bullets and at least 4 bags/200 cases of brass; i.e., $320 worth, then shipping will be included/waived.

Sell the Weatherby Jerry. The .348's calling you. I know it is. But no one is buying my 300 and it is a beautiful rifle. I even found more 300 WBY brass and some ammo! I just have too many 300s of different types and cull this one to get the 348. I really want that rifle!!! Jerry

I hate to say it, but my Browning is slicker than my Winchester. P

Beats the $1500 that a guy at last weeks gun show said he would "come down to" on the same gun. Nice rifle.
