Down to hashbrowns and bacon for dinner, and out of cooking propane. Pulled the fire ring out so I can cook on the fire. Got the buck out today. Foot was ok. Went slow. Sorry , I was struggling with an 11 day dink hunt. With my blown out knee I just sat home thinking next year. But non stop updates are a sad excuse for where we are going. More time was spent on updating us from the outdoors than actually hunting.
Have a whole lot more to my life than being validated by others . Stick is right !

Congrats Jeff, To get back on subject,My hunting buddy is in the market for some new 10x binoculars with about $500 to spend..He likes my ED3's and the view is great,but my opinion is they are not as durable as they could be.Some of that is me though as I am hard on stuff..I was still leery of recommending them to a friend.. I mentioned the new Tract's and after reading some of the reviews here we took the chance..Somehow he even got them to extend their offer..  They are on the way and I will give my thoughts after we play with them for a bit..With my other hunting partners we will have Swaros,Leica's and the mentioned ED3's to put them against.. Not much to report..Took the horses in to Jefferson for 4 days and it was tough hunting..That was the only decent buck we seen and it is just barely decent..LOL I just caught a little movement way back in the standing dead timber and finally made him out..Then it took a bit to size him up some,then some side stepping trying to find a lane..A normal year I would have passed,but it was not a normal year up there.
