for some reason I can't stand Crown. It just tastes horrible to me.
Bulliet, Makers, Beam Black, and some others are fine. But that crown is just bad.
To each their own.
I do like flavored pop, so I guess if it was flavored beam I could make myself try it.
Let us know how it goes! I like Bulleit, but have about settled on plain old Wild Turkey, bought at Sam's Club, for my main Whiskey needs. I don't like Jack anymore or Beam. High West Rendezvous Rye is some of the best liquor I've ever tasted-but pretty pricey. I am not a Scotch man and I have never liked Crown.

I have seen some weird [bleep] on Halloween. It is not a night of the year that I typically spend drunk. Plenty of other nights for that.

In defense of the flavored crown. My buddy brought some apple crown to deer camp and I used it as an injectable to a front shoulder in the smoker.
Turned out very good.

Haven't tried it. Now that you mention it, some Maple sounds good though. The maple flavor in CR is incredibly horrible! It tastes nothing like maple syrup to me... and is sickly sweet. The best thing to put in Bourbon is Bourbon..... CR ain't bourbon however, is it? (Never tried CR, but I like Canadian variety over any of the bourbons.) OK....thanks for correcting me Inspector Gadget....any problems with my spelling....
