Nash and I snuck out yesterday and found a big herd of elk scattered over three or four coulees. We snuck in and sat down and I picked out a nice tender looking cow....grin. I waited for her to turn broadside and stuck a 162 'Max behind her shoulder. It was just a great day out hunting with my brother. Put several miles on but it was all worth it.

The top elk is dead on her feet........

That's the perfect, eating sized elk.

What sort of 7mm?
