What is your preferred powder in .257 Roberts with 100gr. bullets? I have tried IMR 4064, IMR 4350, RL-15 and am considering Varget. Any others I should try? Thanks for your input.

For cast bullets? Velocity goal?

For jacketed, I use Hybrid 100V, but it's temp sensitive. For cast, I use Trail Boss, a 100gr. cast over a case full to the shoulder provides minute of squirrel head accuracy out to 60 yards or so.

Only shoot jacketed bullets in my Roberts, I have no velocity goal. Looking for powders with a reputation for producing accurate loads, I will be doing my load testing at 100yds..

Wrong forum then? This is the cast bullet section.

I'll go with J257 on this one and second IMR 4350 and the 100 gr Barnes.

IMR 4350
You might look at TAC, I have not tried it with the Bob, works well with similar cartridges.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

Yep. Performance champ, as in 3,250 fps with 100 TTSX and stellar accuracy. Some talk about temp sensitivity, but that varies from round to round, load to load. It's my favorite load/bullet in the Roberts. And, that combo kills like a buzzsaw. Got that from gunner, proved it to myself. DF
