Still feel like I was hit by a train. Headache, fatigue, clear drainage, sore throats and cough. Always seems to hit around the holidays. Sucks!

Sounds just like the Christmas present I got from my wife. At least I have another week off work and no plans.

Yep, in the last month I've had the flu, then a 10 day break, then a horrible head cold, then a 10 day break, and now the draining/coughing sinus crud. I blame the weather for part of it. 78F here today, was around freezing a week ago.....

I don't think it's the flu. The weather has been crazy here. It was 9 degrees last week and 72 degrees today. I think it's just a horrible head cold or a bug.

Same/similar here in Pendleton County. Number of folks start with cold or flu and works into a cough that persists more than a month. I started with it late October. Cold/flu and really nasty cough to point of passing out. Took a month to get back to work full time. Just got rid of the cough in the past week or so.

Good luck to you...

I got it too. The good news is this one goes from the lungs/throat and upwards.

Definitely not the flu. BUT if you get a sore throat you're in for about 7+ days of ugh. I am on day 4 and it has setteled into my face!! Cough moved to sneezing. Eyes and nose are a mess. I figure next is the head and then purge!!

The upside is as a result of no appetite I've dropped 10 lbs since Christmas. grin

Day 4 down...no headache, no dizziness. Only things remaining are fatigue, sore throat, and a nasty cough.
As others have said, the sore throat was the indicator; you get that and full blown AIDS to follow! And there ain't no cure for the HIV!

We had a long lasting stomach problem in our house. Not enough to ground you but nasty heartburn and various stomach issues that took weeks to go away.

Yup! Hit me Saturday and I knew it. Felt like someone had taken a mapp torch to my throat. Then came the coughing. UGH! I was the only one who missed Church. By Christmas Day I was ready to crawl up in a corner and just hide from everyone.

Problem is about the time you think you're coming out of it there's a relapse.

It was just about a week ago that I got that feeling that something just wasn't right and that I was probably coming down with something. By Christmas day I was in the clutches of it and it hasn't turned me loose yet. No sore throat, but hacking up crap, coughing like crazy, headache, eyes have more chit in em then ever before, and just dead fatigue. Yesterday at around 3ish or so I started to feel a bit better but by bedtime I was feeling chitty again. Woke up this morning and no improvement. Now its nearly 10 pm and I think I might be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Mine started on 12/11 woke up not feeling well had a fever for two days. Fever broke felt a little better but, not normal. Monday the 19th. I'm at urgent care. Dr. gives me a Z-Pack out the door for home.
3 days into the Z-Pack, I get a bad cough, hurting lungs. Called Dr. back at urgent care 2X no return phone calls... emailed family Dr. He got me in today. I got some cough meds. Dr. said wait for Z-Pack to work. If not better by Friday, to check back in with family DR.

This bug is no fun. My wife has it now. My family Dr started feeling bad today. I told my Dr. It's The Russians Fault. He thought that was funny. lol

I hope the rest of you don't get this. It's no fun.
