Is the subscription ($15 a year) Photobucket worth it? The free service is so FULL of ads and so slooooooow! Any subscribers out there please advise, thanks. Dean

Is the subscription ($15 a year) Photobucket worth it? Dean, IMO, yes. I upgraded to gain more storage capacity, no ads is an added bonus. A full year for the price of a 12 pack of beer.

I think they purposely added more ads so, people would upgrade.

Yeah it's retarded terrible. I'm about done with them. On top of that I ordered some metal prints awhile back and they screwed them up, customer service basically told me to go kick rocks. Ordered the same ones from Bayphoto and they are awesome and not more expensive.
So, what are some good, free, photo-sharing/storage sites?

right now, Photobucket is working fine for me. I have always resisted their efforts to pay for it.

You're right. Here in Canada they want $8.99/month for 100GB storage and ZERO ads. As if?

No problems with photobucket in over 7-8 years, ad block + takes care of the ads.

I applied AdblockPlus to Photobucket and it worked fine for awhile then they asked me to turn it off. I didn't and everything slowed down to a crawl.
Then they said I could go ad free for $14.99/year. I went to Picture Trail but they limit you to 36 free photos. Now back to Photobucket and turned off AdBlockPlus but site is slow,slow.

I just posted several pictures to "standard" free Photobucket with no issues.
I am running Firefox with Adblock Plus on Linux

I run AdBlock on Firefox and have had no issues with Photobucket in the past, have not tried it in the last couple of days though.
The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!

Photobucket absolutely won't work for me, hasn't for several months. Every time I hit the upload button it takes me back to the login screen.
