I am looking for a 12 gauge pump shotgun it needs to be able to handle 3 and a half super mag shells. I am looking more towards a synthetic stock with a wetlands pattern on it.

If I was buying a new 3.5" Super Mag Pump, my first choice would be the 870 and my second choice would be the Winchester SXP, which will be about $100 bucks cheaper than the Renington. Winchester also has a $25 mail in rebate right now.

A gas-operated semi-auto will help absorb the recoil of the big 3 1/2" loads.

A gas-operated semi-auto will help absorb the recoil of the big 3 1/2" loads. My thoughts as well. Doc

A few days ago there was a nice Remington 870 Supermag in the classifieds of Shotgun World. It was Bottomland camo. Might try looking there.
