I have 4.515 acres of undeveloped land located about 20 miles from Delta Junction, Alaska. Just off the Richardson Highway. There are a few houses in the area, but none "right there". This is in an unincorporated area, so there are NO TAXES. This is one of the few places where you can actually own land without paying taxes on it. Asking $12000. What you got to trade?

Who owns the land surrounding the parcel?
Does it have actual road access?

I'm away from home and a real computer right now. If you open Google maps at Delta Junction, go west along the Richardson highway, until it shows a Wells Fargo ATM. I don't know if there is really an ATM there or not. On the north side if the road you'll see what appears to be a mining operation. On the south side of the road, you'll see a bunch of roads. If you find Kiana Lane and Noorvick road, the property is between those 2 roads. I have not been there in years, so I can't tell you what kind of condition the roads are currently in. I'll post some more info when I get a chance. I don't have any photos as all the ones I had were lost in a computer crash.

How bad could it be there's a well Fargo down the road 😆 Google says I can walk there in 57-days without stopping. 😅

If you walk to the bank, they may give you a loan for the land...

Very cool spot, lots of birch in there and one hell of a view of the Alaska Range if you are up a little bit on the hill. Killed a couple nice black bears directly across the Tanana river from there.

How long has it been since you have seen the property? Is it flat, buildable, well, electric, road access? A little more information might help. I think I've been to the area but it's been a few years, hunted moose on the south side of the Tanana River. Tough to cross too. Is the property actually off one of those two roads or what is the access. From what we have now how would a person even find it?

I'll break out the deed tonight and get the legal description. I can clearly see it in the google map picture above. The main road that comes into the land from the left, where it makes the 2nd split in the picture, the top road leads directly to the property.
I haven't been there in over 5 years. If someone in the area wants to look at it, feel free. My next step is to contact a realtor in Delta to put it on the market.

I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

I'm on my phone so I can't post it now but if you google Alaska Tenderfoot subdivision, it will bring up a map on the AK DNR site. I believe my land is block5 lot 4, but I will verify with the deed.

Block 5, lot 4 is correct. Deed in hand. The guy I bought it from bought it directly from the state of Alaska.
I own this land outright. There are NO taxes on it. Where else can you actually OWN land that no one can ever take from you, even if you don't pay the taxes? I had plans to build a summer cabin up there. Nothing fancy probably a one room, no water, basic mountain man cabin. If it doesn't sell, I may end up doing it.
