This is beginning to sound like a poll discussion prior to the election. Thankfully, like the election, it'll play out soon.

Going out on a limb here (Not really, all 1 & 2 Seeds) and taking KC, NE, Atl & Dallas in the office pool, who you takin'?

The Packer D has, at times, been very effective at stopping the run this season. It's all about the one on one match-ups. The Dallas O line is very good and it's a big reason why they run the ball effectively, but the Packers have some big bodies up front and some very athletic LBs. The Packers are playing at a much higher level than they did in the beginning of the season when they played the Boyz. I won't predict this game, but a case/scenarios can be made for either team to win. I thought the Giants D (better than the Cowboys D) was going to give the Packers fits (and they did for 27 minutes) but Rodgers is a smart QB and has been finding ways to get things done. It should be a corker of a game.

As much as it pains me to say it: I see no way for GB to beat Dallas. I see just the opposite.. NO way the Cowboys beat GB unless the refs get in the picture.. It's gonna be a high-scoring game - but Dallas will need to score more than 35 pts to beat 'em.. I'll hafta take a lot of ant-acid pills before THAT kickoff.. Dallas has the best O-line in the NFL. They have a good RB. The packers have an average D, and can't run. THAT is how Dallas can beat GB. I'm not saying they will. But I'll not be surprised if Dallas wins. There's this guy. His name is Aaron Rodgers. And he has other toys besides Jordy Nelson. And he knows how to use them.

Brexit, Trump, Army over Navy, etc.... Sometimes things appear to be either destiny or rigged. The Patriots won right after 9/11. I thought that was fitting. It also seems fitting while we are making America great again that America's team should win the Super Bowl. Yeah, maybe I'm high. But it is my dream!

"America's team"... a media creation that was offered to the Steelers first and they told the media to piss off.

>>"The packers have an average D, and can't run."<<
They can at times run pretty effectively:
226 yds vs Chicago (162 for Montgomery) 163 yds vs Lions 109 yds vs Texans 93 yds vs Seahawks
The Packers will take whatever the opponents D wants to give them. Usually though, they only will run enough for the opposing D to have to respect the run. When you have Rodgers, a team would have to be stupid not to take advantage of his talents. Why run the ball for 3-4 yards when he can give you a much bigger play? Also, Rodgers can get a 1st down with his legs as well as his arm.
Re: This "America's Team" nonsense. The team is owned by Jerry Jones, it's his team. The Packers are owned by Stockholders all over the country (including me). If any teams deserves that moniker (and I don't want it) it would be the Packers.
