"M 1 carbine made in December of 1944 by Inland container MFD. M 1 Garand made in November of 1943 by Springfield Armory. Amazing history. The Garand went to Europe and came back. Was then sent to Augusta Arsenal, markings on stock. AA 8857. Then was sent off to Korea. Came back from Korea and was mothballed til 1966 when it was refurbished with a brand new barrel. Marked on barrel March of 1966. This would have been the very last of the Garand barrels made I was told. Then was issued to a National Guard Unit in 1967. That's as far I could find out. I had to shoot it, shoots very well!"

Bought/traded/sold a bunch of M1 carbines till they got up to $100 ea. then I stopped. That should give you an idea as to how long ago that was. Still have a couple. Fun to shoot. Easy to reload.

"Top is a Winchester model 77 , 22 semi. Ser # 514x. Middle is a Remington model 14 in 35 Remington. Ser# 75xxx C . A mystery because it has a 20 inch barrel and a carbine stock. The rifles had 22 inch barrels , the carbines 18.5. 1897 Winchester, ser 68xxx. 12 ga imp cylinder. I believe it's called the brush gun."
