http://newsbake.com/sports/nfl/dallas-cowboys/texans-interested-trading-pass-rusher-tony-romo-sign/The Cowboys are in need for pass rushers and there is a team just down the road that has some talent to spare on defense. The Dallas Cowboys will have a quarterback on the market come the 2017 off-season, could they have an interest from their little brothers down in Houston, Texas? The Texans were a quarterback away from winning in New England this past weekend while their defense kept them in the game in the first half before they finally broke late it the game and the Patriots took over the game. Could the Cowboys and Texans have an interest and need with one another? Houston had the league’s top ranked defense despite their star defensive end missing most of the season, proving that they can win without the big defensive end, J.J. Watt. The Cowboys were able to get the top seed in the NFC, despite Tony Romo not playing a snap before the week 17 game. Image result for jj watt The Cowboys could use the pass rushing skills of J.J. Watt and the Texans could use a quarterback to guide their offense in a win-now mode with their defense that they have on that team. It wouldn’t be easy to peel away Watt from the Texans, but it most likely wouldn’t be impossible to happen. The worst thing that can happen is that the Texans say no to the trade and Jerry Jones goes about his day, but if they say yes, we could be seeing an all-Texas Super Bowl in 2017. You could honestly say that the reason both Texas teams lost on this past Sunday is because of one side of the ball. The Texans didn’t have a quarterback match for Tom Brady and a very beatable Patriot team this past Saturday. The Cowboys didn’t have an answer for Aaron Rodgers as they were unable to get any pressure on the veteran quarterback. Image result for tony romo Put Romo in Houston in that New England game and the Texans would have had a very good chance of pulling off the upset. With Watt, out for this year, there is nothing they could have done this past Sunday, but we can look at 2017 with him. Put Watt with a healthy DeMarcus Lawrence and Jaylon Smith, and we might be looking at a very dominate Cowboys football team on both sides of the ball. It might be a far-fetched trade option, but it isn’t that out of left field to think about. Dallas and Houston both have huge needs that they can help each other out with. The Cowboys could afford to offer a first round pick and Tony Romo for the pass rushing specialist J.J. Watt. Both teams could finally get the player that they both desperately need. If this is at all possible, the Cowboys need to at least kick the tires on it!

Id like to see Romo play again, if he had an O line and running back, which is something he rarely had the benefits of at D? He did well the year he had a good O line and D Murray.
As Jimmy Johnson said, "Hell, he carried the Cowboys on his back for 5 years".

I've been watching Tony Romo play ball starting when he was in high school and he is a much better QB than Osweiler without a doubt. However, anyone believing that he would have made enough difference against New England last Sunday is certifiable.

I'm saying he could have made that difference. Oz is not even close to the 72 million dollar man they had hoped..

Problem is nobody else thinks he's worth that much. And the contract goes with Oz. Texans only choice is to keep him or cut him. Personally, I think Oz has a lot of potential though. Also, the word here in Colorado is Elway has the inside track to Romo and they have been talking. Casey

Elway is no dummy and he'll do just like he did with Manning...Super Bowl potential.
